The Co-Working Model
The co-working model is a core part of our therapeutic approach. One therapist works directly with the child while a second therapist works simultaneously with the parent, foster carer or residential staff team. This dual process allows the child to be deeply met in their emotional world while the caregiving adult receives support, insight and regulation in real time. The model accelerates therapeutic progress because the child’s relational environment shifts alongside their inner world. It is especially effective for early trauma, attachment difficulties and children whose experiences are held in the body rather than in words
