WHY DONATIONS MATTER
Helping children who need it most
We provide both therapeutic support for children and guidance for parents, helping families better understand what their child is experiencing and respond with confidence and compassion. By supporting the entire family, we create the conditions for lasting change.

Donations help us offer subsidised therapy for children and parental support services to families who might otherwise be unable to access the help they need. Your contribution can reduce financial barriers, ensuring that more children receive timely support and that parents have the tools to help their child thrive.

Every donation helps a child feel heard, supported, and hopeful about the future.
"No child should have to heal alone. Your donation helps us make sure they don't."
SAFE STEPS THERAPISTS
WHERE YOUR DONATION GOES
Supporting children and their supportive network
Emotional Regulation
Child Therapy
When available, your donations go directly toward subsidising therapy for your child. When funding is available, we work closely with parents to figure our what is feasible.
Parental Support
When available, your donations help to go toward subsidising or covering the cost of parental support for families in need. A supported parent is one of the most powerful agents of change in a child's life.
Building a safety net around the child
Donations also help fund support for other adults and professionals needed to support the child - teachers, residential workers, foster carers and more. The aim is to create a safety net around the child where all adults in the child's world are responding in a way that is coherent, consistent and attuned.
Training
When possible funding can go toward specific training for the therapists in relation to upskilling which provides up to date, evidence based training to support best practice in an effort to support the child and family. When available, funding can also support training/workshops for foster carers/professionals.
