OUR SERVICES
Support for Parents & Caregivers
WHAT IS PARENT SUPPORT
"If a community values its children, it must cherish their parents."
- John Bowlby
You dont have to figure this out alone
Parenting support is a dedicated therapeutic space for parents and caregivers who want to better understand and support their child's emotional and behavioural needs. It offers an opportunity to step back, reflect, and gain insight into what might be happening for your child, and for you as a parent. Whether you are navigating a specific challenge, supporting a child in therapy, or simply feeling overwhelmed and unsure where to turn, parenting support provides a warm, non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, informed and empowered. Because when parents feel supported, children thrive.
"Our aim is to help parents/caregivers feel informed, resourced and supported - so that meaningful and lasting change can unfold within the whole system around the child."

HOW IT WORKS
A space designed for you
Parent support sessions offer you a confidential, non-judgemental space to talk about your child, your family, and your own experience. You don't need to have all the answers - this is a space to think things through together.
Sessions typically last 50 minutes and can be arranged on a short-term or ongoing basis depending on your needs. We work at your pace and always keep the wellbeing of your child and family at the centre.
Support can be offered in person at our Kildare Town rooms or online - whatever works best for you.

Stronger Connection
Deepen your understanding of your child's inner world and strengthen the bond between you.
Reduced Stress
Gives children a developmentally appropriate way to express complex feelings they can't yet put into words.
